Statistical Goodness, Version 3.0

Twenty six - woaaah, TWENTY SEVEN weeks pregnant, today. That's almost 7 months. That's a viable baby. A viable 2 pound baby, but a few weeks in the NICU could do wonders for that. Holy moly.

I weight something around 165 lbs. Still not sure where I started, but it appears I've put on about 20 lbs, give or take 3. (mostly take)

Quit measuring my belly, because it's begun speaking for itself.

Quit measuring my big momma pillows, because they've got a mind of their own, too.

Feeling movement about a billion times a day, which is beautiful and wonderful and not painful or intrusive at all.

Maternity clothes purchased... countless. But tickled pink with every single item. Motherhood Maternity really is a decent little shop. Got to break out the tank top today, aye carumba.

Temperature outside: 75 (yay!)
Internal temperature: rising. Saby has begun to notice that I'm wandering around in my skivvies while he's wrapped up in a blanket. I'm not sweating or noticing anything much, besides a beautiful absence of that cold feeling in my feet. I will take it!

Bathing suits: 2, at a time. I have one big suit I bought on clearance, thinking it could be faux maternity... no such case, it's just too big. My regular swim suit is too tight. I thus wear the loose one over top of the tight one, and pretend I'm training for Sectionals and need more drag. (hello, 1996)

Maternity Bathing Suits: ZERO. Although I have my eye on two at the store. Beetches don't make the bottoms big enough... am wondering if I could be fired for mixing and matching a large bottom with a medium top. Will screw up inventory and make hell for manager, who I love. Not worth it. Will just swim bottomless.

Statistical Goodness 3.0

Weight: 154.5 lbs (growing pleasantly, although 3 lbs of that is probably a bag of organic Oreos I blew through in about 5 days)
Hips/Belly: 40 inches
Waist: 31.25 inches
Bustyola: 37 inches
(awww, no new development there)
4: estimated and exaggerated pounds of mucus I've coughed up from stupid cold
3: times I've broken my Lenten fast and had a burger, because somehow I thought that starving myself of beef was making my cold last longer
3: number of pairs of maternity pants I'm holding steady with... refusing to buy more until 6 months, when I can justify a pair of cute jeans, and by then it might be warm enough to go for the "convertable capris" for 29.98 (+ 30% discount!)
15: times I've almost bought the French wool teddy bear daddy/baby set at Motherhood (their names are Emile & Emilien!) and decided against it

Statistical Goodness 2.5

Holy Guacamole! I was initially a little worried that I wasn't putting on any weight. After coming back from Michigan, I suddenly bounced from about 151 to ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT POUNDS, per my own scale. Then at Wednesday's doctor appointment, the official doc scale told me 159.
I almost shat. But didn't, and I suspect that this is also the reason for the weight gain - another unpleasant bout of preggo constipation. Thanks, intestines... thanks, hormones. It's been fun. Luckily nature has resolved the issue and I'm now back on track, weighing in at 153 on my own scale at home (the one that I thought was stuck at 151).

Nothing new to report other than it's freezing cold down in Dayton and just about everywhere else...
